Chang-Rong Lin is a scholar, curator, artist, and designer. His work focuses on the connections between contemporary society and the environment, exploring how materiality, symbols, and space intertwine to construct complex layers of power, identity, and memory. His creations reveal the subtle interactions between humanity and nature while deeply reflecting the impact of capitalism and the information age on individual identity and social structures. By uncovering the hidden dynamics within everyday life, Lin's work demonstrates the operations of invisible power and control, while also exploring how humans navigate rapidly changing environments in their search for authenticity and meaning. His works often convey the concept of "space as a body," using minimal materials and symbols to construct poetic sensory realms that reflect the fragility and timelessness of space.
